Yeah thats him,hes spent the past 12 Months or so on the Kilkenny Senior training panel without making the first 30,he had a good showing in the 2009 Intermediate championship and should be making the panel shortly id say,hes around 23 i think,a big fella who could make it if he keeps improving.

draw also between dit and cit 1-14 to 1-14 appiece or something like that…cit looked out of site at half time but only scored two points in second half and took a last minute free to level it.some cork cunt scored it… in fairness twas 60 yards out and on sideline and into the wind…dit hit several scorable chances wide in second half and missed greta goal chance while the cit keeper also pulled off an excellent save… all in all very much a game of two halves cit did well to hang on in the end…

Our club under 21s played DIT freshers in a challenge last Sunday ahead of our U21 Rionn A final against Dicksboro this coming SUnday,they were only
average at best but had a few nice hurlers,too give them thier due they were on a bonding weekend in Kilkenny so a good few of them might have been semi drunk and they may have been missing a few regulars,it was an ok run out for our lads at the same time,heres hoping we can show up hurling and sew it into red hot favourites the BOro this SUnday in another attempt at winning this grade for the first time since the mid 70s.
Some joke to be playing U-21 hurling championship at this time of the year. Not very Killkenny like. Whats the deal with that?

If they stopped all the in-fighting and bickering they are potentially good, a few good youngsters plus Fanning, Kerwick and Kennedy.
He met with the players a couple of weeks ago, told them he didn’t want to be talking to any of them after training, anyone with any problems was to phone him only. Wouldn’t put up with any indiscipline etc etc, he won’t last a month I’d say, they likes their beer in Killenaule.

I know Killenaule fairly well, they have alot of talent, but Mullach is right, beering would be a big part of the make up. Hopefully the fact that they have more guys playing college hurling, and on IC panels they might learn a bit. They have the potential to win a county with them all going well.
Anyone know how John O Loughlin did for UCD today? Plenty of power, but fuck all hurling being done there. Lad is going to be burnt out serving so many teams.
