Claughan and OC were goosed a long time . Their catchment area suffered from ageing demographics and in Claughaunâs case they lost our when players stopped transferring there . Monaleen , Na P and Mungret have big populations and the right demographic . Although Na P are in relative decline at underage these last few years .
Its just demographic re-alignment
At least they are imaglamating. More clubs should do it.
In Corks southside you have Ballypheane and Lough Rovers. Actually quite a big catchment, i would suggest bigger than Nemo. Yet instead of coming together they are both less than average so anyone decent or with ambition goes to the Barrs.
I donât buy that argument. The Rathbane area has no problem fielding horse and trap teams.
Serious high-performance culture in Rathbane horse & trap - attracts the elite athlete
You are a football man. Your opinion does not count.
It is well skirts the country club which is Limerick City, another mile up the road is the turn off for Woodcock Hill. They would be about 5 miles from Meelick Village. Anyway it was their mother who took them to NaP from the start as young lads.
Theyâre part of the same crowd as Caseyâs garage near Ivanâs are they?
The parish of Meelick extends into County Limerick in places. Coonagh is in the Meelick parish.
The Caseys went to school in Christ The King in Caherdavin.
Whatâs the story with King, he went to school in Shannon as far as I know
He is their uncle.
He teaches in Gaelscoil in town and is living just off the Old Cratloe road.
Just off the Cratloe Rd in Meelick
Thatâs very true. As a club it only had success from players moving to Limerick with fuck all local representation.
How are the new pitches coming on Glas? Looks a fine job.
Just watched highlights of Cusla v Martins there. Con OâCallaghan is a phenomenal hurling forward. Reminds me of Eoin Kelly in his pomp.
Just past Barrettâs shop in Limerick!!
Nah maaann, he doesnât have Kellyâs wrists or touch, no one has
No way in Kellyâs class, His skill level was another level altogether.
Try out by Whiteâs Cross
You should call in for a cups next time you are near Phareâs road!!!
