In fairness, the players should not be put in this position. Playing a full round of club championship a week before an All Ireland final is ludicrous. There wonāt be a club championship game played for 5 months from may to September in which time the Senior footballers will play 5 matches. This is a very avoidable mess
Itās ten days out from the final but I get your point. Itās harsh though for teams having to play a knockout game without county players. That should never happen either. The players as you say are in an awful position.
