Btw none of you obviously watched that video, Kingstons scores were laughable, the defending throughout, jokeshop.

In other news Kingstons Arles Killeen beaten in replay last night by Port.

Cahir Healy has done his ACL.

How are the Heath doing this year?

Bet the Champions Stradbally in first round. Small shock, given the amount of lads they have abroad. I did say Stradbally would do fuck all this year mind you. The Heath are solid, Portlaoise are weakened, it could be there for them if they get a few back. Joseph’s look good though, as do O Dempseys

The sooner the GAA as we know it is dismantled the better. This is ridiculous. Fairly typical bitterness from nordies (as in the opposition football club), but still, should not get this far.

Slayers of Portlaoise’s 10 in a row ambitions in 2016, Stradballly are in the 2017 SFC relegation play off.

They must have had some session after winning it

Oh that goes without saying. But they got steeped last year, had a soft run to the final, and dug in there for the game. Portlaoise never buried them when they had the chance, and complacently tried to run down the clock in injury time, and got caught. Everything just fell for Stradbally last year. There would be a strange justice to them going down. They should have gone down 3 years ago, but “somehow” found a loophole to slip the knot.

Laois have been forced to rescind their 2014 senior and junior football championships following an emergency meeting in Portlaoise last night.
Both championships must start from scratch again after St. Joseph’s and Arles-Kilcruise, who were due to play in a relegation playoff tomorrow night, queried the validity of the relegation process.
Under rule 6.20.3 in the GAA’s Official Guide, club championships are permitted to have a bye in Round 1 only, with permission needed from Central Council to award a bye in any further rounds.
Crettyard were awarded a bye in the second round as part of the restructuring of the Laois SFC, thus sparing them from the threat of relegation, and last night
Laois chairman Gerry Kavanagh apologised for this oversight before the clubs eventually adopted a proposal to rescind the championship and to continue with a new 12-team competition on a 33 to 13 vote.
Relegation won’t now take place, meaning Arles-Kilcruise, Stradbally and St Joseph’s will be involved in a 16-team SFC in 2015. The new SFC gets underway this weekend with the previous Round 3 drawing forming the new Round 1.

In completely unrelated news, Stradbally man Gerry Kavanaghs 3 year term as Chairman of the County Board is up this year. Of course Stradbally will continue to have a strong influence in Laois GAA with the continued involvement of their Stradbally man Niall Handy in the role of County Secretary.

Pre championship favourites Douglas are OUT of the Cork SHC.:joy:

St Brigids knocked out of the Roscommon championship I heard

Think they’ve a back door to avail of!

By Killeagh of all teams.

I saw Eire Og and the Barrs make serious enough statements in Int and Sen football

That was it

Kingston, Cadogan x2, Cian McCarthy, Turnbull, Moylan, Shane Bourke, all those lads who won the U21 last year.

Where were these guys?

Last years beaten finalists Kildangan are OUT of the Tipp SHC .

Thurles Sarsfields hammered Drom tonight, even without Michael and Stephen Cahill. They may hand the cup over now
