Good win for Gweedore. Thought the fact that Scotstown have been operating at Ulster level over the past 4 or 5 years would give them the edge and that Gweedore’s element of surprise might be gone after the Cross game.

Clonkill could have beaten boden. Coolderry would have but the ref engineered the draw. Looks like a final between the big two when it comes to club hurling. Combined with a crokes corofin football final would make an attractive double header.

The big two are meeting in the semi Ballygunner and Ballyhale
BBSE a good step down on the standard that Cuala set in previous years. Cuala were steamrolling teams in Leinster the last 2 years. BBSE were taken to ET in their 2 previous games.
Ballyhale seem to have regenerated their team a bit. I think there were 5 starters who are under 21.
