Still in their own hands. They have Crokes B in their final game who are pointless. Youâd imagine your beloved Raheny should have enough for them. That would put them 3rd/4th in the group and a QF spot.
I caught the 2nd half on the way home from PP and got soaked. Ye seemed to be down a good few players and were lucky to get the draw getting a few scuttery goals.

Murph mustâve been playing the poor mouth with Milltown. If you were listen to him youâd wonder how they field at all and they there winning senior games against teams with two inter-county full-backs by double digit margins.
I thought Doonbeg were in terminal decline and struggling for numbers. Strange result?
One of the most open football championships in the country. 2024 champions Tinahely and 2025 finalists Carnew both in the relegation semis after the weekend. If I had to hazard a guess Iâd say it could be AGBâs year. That was a dead rubber that they lost to Kiltegan.
New Swiss League system in Carlow. Top 2 straight through to the semi-finals with 3rd v 6th and 4th v 5th in the quarter-finals.

Burren took a bit of a beating from Clonduff this evening. The Frank OâHare wonât be going any further south than Hilltown this winter.
Back to hurling now in Carlow. Semi finals next Sunday and final the Sunday after.
Champions are still favourites but both out of sorts in Offaly.
Injury hit Kilcormac face elimination if they lose to Birr in last group game this weekend.
In the football, four in a row chasing Tullamore have lost to both their main rivals, Ferbane and Rhode, in the âstrongâ group stage. Tullamore face into a quarter final in a fortnight. Rhode and Ferbane straight into semis.

Hurling final isnât until the last weekend in September. Football quarter-finals the weekend after next. Ballinkillen should have every chance against St Mullins but ultimately youâd have to predict an MLR v St Mullins final with Rangers prevailing. Carlow Town v Burren Rangers has the makings of a good intermediate final. How Carlow would incorporate 7 senior teams would be interesting. 6 hurling group games and 5 in football would be punishing on senior dual players.
That GAA Tiktoker who paid for bot followers (Cian Johnson) looks a good operator in the Ferbane full-forward line.
Any calls to split Naas in two?
Maynooth 1st team are in the middle of an injury crisis. 2nd team who are only up from division below have lost out because of it.
