Club Championships 2026/2027

Dingle’s reign as Kerry, Munster and All Ireland Club Champions is over.

Edendork have shocked Donaghmore. 0-20 to 0-12. They reach the final of the only championship that matters for the very first time.

When you have the Dazzler on your team anything is possible.

5-22 to 2-27 in Roscommon.

That is not football, that’s pyjama cricket.

Result AET.

AET or no AET that’s not a football result.

Be no lorry shenanigans from Athy this year. Maynooth have done them AET

It’s a fine demonstration of point scoring is what it is. It’s something different to the endless recycling and hand passing that were rightly diagnosed as a blight on the game. By all accounts it was a terrific contest between 2 footballing sides.
You may not like it but each to their own.

It’s basically tag rugby is what it is.

The long defunct Milford were the opponents for Graiguecullen in that infamous match in 1926. It was played in Rathoe though. John Kelly, historian/GAA historian (from your favourite club in Carlow, Palatine) did a good talk on the Battle of Rathoe recently for the Carlow Historical and Archaelogical Society.

Rathvilly incidentally beat Palatine 4-12 to 2-16 in the first of the Carlow senior football semi finals tonight. Champions Old Leighlin face Eire Og tomorrow.

It was some game. Boyle had her in the bed and didn’t touch her. The old failings at the back that I referenced here in the past came back to haunt them again. Considering they were an average intermediate team 15 years ago then the window is closing on this groups chance to win one.

Not that long defunct. They were playing Junior A football as recently as 2013. I’d say they must’ve fallen by the wayside in 2014. Most of their players must’ve just transferred to Ballinabranna as I’ve been in the Milford Weir/Valhalla sauna and it’s a stones throw from Ballinabranna.

The Limerick winner be it Nap, Kilmallock, Doon will have 3 weeks lead in. Should they go down and beat BG it would have to put an asterisk on the games against them down the years.

Doon got a team bus from the pub that time sure ffs. Na Piarsaigh I’m fairly sure had short turn arounds. Looks like Na Piarsaigh will finally have all their HOFers available too as they were without incoming all star at 6, WOD, last year and both Casey’s have had sustained injury periods too
