I’m not a dub but as far as I know it’s on tonight
Cheers Fran.
twas tulla’s first in donkeys years also…
you didn’t answer my question…what is the standard like these days…
Pretty good Puke. We no longer have two teams like mt.sion and Ballgunner 98-2006 who were in the top 4 club sides in the country, but now we have about 6 with realistic ambitions of winning county title… Its probably reflected in the spread of players on the county panel.
Our stongest lcubs this year probably have average ages about the 23-25 mark as well, which can only bode well.
You know what to do!!
I would only they’d twig it!
But you can go on to the Star and complain that they wouldn’t pay out!
I wouldn’t be so sure. I backed Crumlin to beat Craobh Ciarans a couple of weeks ago on PP and when I went to check my balance they had Ciarans down for the win and my money in their pockets.

what do you make of josephs chances against newmarket…hope ye bate the cunts…windy shower of fucks…
Was at Boden v Vinnies tonight. First half wasn’t bad, second half was very poor, thought the Boden goal was very soft, should have been saved, someone on AFR calling it an Eddie Brennan exocet must be on drugs, it was struck no harder than a cross field pass. Reaction of the keeper said it all. Keaney was very poor, hit alot of aimless ball into no one. The second half was dreadful with a string of bad wides from both sides. The penalty pretty much ended things as far as Vinnies were concerned. That close in free near the end was possibly the worst struck free I’ve seen in senior hurling short of a fresh air. At the death a Vinnies man ran up to a Boden lad and gave him a straighener into the helmet after the final whistle. Stupid stuff. In the main though I thought Vins played it hard by fair. They got penalised alot for what looked like very little except a Boden man went down, looked like normal rough and tumble.
One things for sure, this is not the Boden we saw last year. Vinnies could have won this if they’d put over a few chances after half time, to really serve it up to Boden, as it was they never drew level.
Thanks for that Shannon. Bodens are there for the taking so. I think the semis are on the bank holiday weekend.

Very poor game…both sides guilty of shocking wides…Boden’s half back line was their strongest line…some great hooking and blocking…Vincents dogged away but just didn’t have the quality forwards apart from Mossy mcGrane…Keaney didn’t look interested…Boden definitely aren’t the team of last year but haven’t got much left to beat to retain the title…they should have far too much for lucan in semi’s…think the 2 semi’s are on next wednesday in Parnell…Wouldn’t agree with the goal…thought Ryan hit it some belt and it had an element of surprise as it looked like he was going for a point…Boden player goaded the vincnets lad after the whistle by giving him the fingers so the vinnie lad ran after him and gave him a dig in the mush…an isolated incident in what was a hard but fair game that lacked quality…
Crumlin V Crokes is on the bank holiday weekend according to my sources
Was Diarmuid Connolly playing for Vins, he got he line on sunday. Average footballer, but would be a serious hurler if he stuck to it. He is a nephew of kilkenny referee and mt sion teacher Domo.
Domo was a very good hurler in his day, strong as an Ox. Kept going until well into his forties
Connolly is a classy a footballer you’ll see…probably not suited to the modern intercounty game of creatine meatheads who can’t kick the ball but would send you into row Z if they caught you with a shoulder…wednesday 22nd october is when both hurling semi’s are on…
I was up training with Crumlin last night and they seemed to think it was on the bank holiday wkend. Reports are suggesting now that it’s on the wednesday as you say but I think it’s still under debate
Maybe scumpot, just didn’t think at the time it was struck that viciously. I would really be disappointed in the keeper there. It is funny that from the four accounts I’ve read of the goal, two people thought it was an unstoppable missile and two others thought it was tame enough!
One thing I noticed, in a game where I was a bit lost without the team sheet I must admit, was the amount of times Vinnies were blocked down. They seemed far too languid in their striking. That said they put up a much better show than last year’s county final.
I wouldn’t write off Lucan however, though they are not as combative as Vinnies so that might suit Boden, they are a bit like Boden Lite, so you’d expect Boden to win. I would have thought though on last night’s showing if Kilmacud were any use they’d win it out. Boden could come to life though.

the sooner boden bring travers to midfield, where he was brilliant last year, the better…he’s wasted in the corner…
Kilmacud were poor enough in their win against Na Fianna. If Boden keep their heads they may have done the hard work in winning the county championship last night.
