Some clash of horrible jerseys in the sports (dog racing + rugby) ground

Lovely difference in the dressing rooms there.

Rattling good game this.

John Muldoon scores the conversation for Connaught’s lucky 7th try against Leinster today. What a way to make your bow.

I watched Muldoon lift the Pro 12 trophy from an isolation bed in the Lourdes In Drogheda. I had neutropenic sepsis and was so out of it had to ask the nurse was that really happening , did John Muldoon really lift a trophy for Connaught in Murrayfield? The phillipino nurse didn’t know much about interprovincial rugby, but she assured me it was real.

That’s my John Muldoon moment.

Thanks Mul, ní bheidh do leithid ann arís…

I thought that was a prerequisite for Rugby?

Harsh. You’ve always been very critical of Muldoons though.

Public funds?

Why is.there a need dor 3 stadiums in Galway

I don’t know but building a new stadium for a sport that will be outlawed within a decade seems like folly to me.

Greyhound racing is going to be outlawed? About fucking time

Are they keeping the dog track I wonder?

They are. It will also be available to soccer and GAA (if for some reason the GAA decide they need to play a game on a pitch that is half the regulation size)

Absolutely no need. It’s a real shame, I thought the RWC bid and the shameful behaviour of the GGA over the Liam Miller testimonial would change attitudes.

Bizarre stuff there, available for gaa my hole. The galway Co board (whichever remain at liberty) and the rugby lads should be locked in a room, preferably with someone sensible, until they come up with a plan for one, good, accessible stadium east of the river.
