Great effort tonight. They are lacking a bit of composure that only comes with consistent top level performances.
I don’t know where I stand on the changes as guys that looked inept and disinterested against Dublin were flying around like Dervishes looking for the fight. Cork also found a bit of cuteness by fouling out the field and stopping forwards racing towards goal (until the final 5 mins). I would only hope for Cork fans that this is the level of performance from here on in. The results will follow.

BTW Thanks @Turenne. This is by far the best site to view streams of matches.

While it’s a meaningless match for Cork, it’s not much to be at least expecting a continuation of the work rate shown against KK.

Seeing a Cashman from the Rockies togged out is an encouraging sign at least.

Mediocre pace, like all the Blackrock lads, bar Murphy.

His da was no Usain Bolt either, first five yards in the head and all that.

How does a lad in Singapore keep up with club hurling matters, I find it hard enough from Limerick.

I saw him and the rest of those Blackrock groups play at U-16/U-18/U-21. Pace isn’t something that changes with age, either you have or you don’t.

Wasn’t having a go at you pal, just interested to know.
Saw Cashman play a few of times and didn’t think he was quite up to senior inter county.
Tom Cash was my childhood and hence all time hero so I hope the young lad can be a real player.

Glanworth always known as the Harbour. Something to do with vikings maybe. There is a harbour bar as well

I’d give you an informative rating in the old days of this site.

Condon is indeed Glanworth, Walsh is Kanturk, a cousin of Aidan’s afaik.

Supposed to be a decent team but Waterford are warm favourites. Only one really ball winner in the forwards in Bradley, most of the others are of the fast flashy type.

Apparently some big profile names being dropped from the senior hurling panel. My guess- two Bishopstown lads, Paudi Sul and Moylan.

Lehane, Horgan, Lawton and Kearney had big games according to that. Not really sure what his definition of ‘play’ is.

Doubt Paudi will get dropped. Would be a serious strong message to send out but id be most surprised!
