Yes.
Joyce at half-forward - half suspected heād get a try there.
Iām amazed by your ability to make such definitive pronouncements on players in cork having been so far away for so long.
Uninspiring is the word Iād use looking at that team, although maybe some of the players missing will be on the UCC team. Cahalane at centre back at this stage seems like a waste of time.
Cheers.
Definitely needs more of an overhaul
Whatās the point in starting Alan Cadogan? Like really.
Thatās as piss poor a cork team as Iāve seen
Ah here, CJ wingforward.
Why. Ive talked to a lad who has coached him who says its his natural position.
O Brien has been with the minors 20s etc so at least heās on the pathwayā¦ Did Keane play underage hurking for Cork?
How much hurling has he played there?
He hasnāt but he was more than good enough to be a Cork minor but was screwed by the selectors.
Dissecting a team in Januaryā¦
didnāt Limerick hurling supporters get ridiculed for this? Oh how the mighty have fallen
Joyce will surely line out at CB tonight with Cahalane playing up the field. Bizarre playing CiarĆ”n in the forwards, heās everything we need in the backs.
Some for his school, but obviously in later years he has played centre back on most teams. Point being, he has skill set to be a very effective half forward, which is a must for any team looking to contend in modern game.
Nothing wrong with playing half forward. Playing centre back on senior team is a big ask (and unfair) for a kid still u20.
Do you think he is quick enough?
I understand completely, but CB has been a particular achilles heel for us for some time now. Coleman was the best option last year but Joyce is this year IMO. I know heās still u20 but this young man has everything and regardless of age, is Corkās best Centre Back.
Do you think he is quick enough?
Mark Keane? Youād imagine the Aussieās wouldnāt have touched him if he didnāt. Is CJ mobile enough for senior? If CJ is anything as good as some say he should be given the 6 jersey for the entire league, end of.
