Cork GAA - They're going home! - sponsored by Sports Direct and Super Valu

I wouldn’t follow Ed that closely. Did he play in cork before?

2018…

What would the options have been? I assume the fixtures hadn’t been announced, could Cork have requested an away game that week? Or should PUC be kept free for all of early summer, the gigs will be of benefit to the whole city surely?

Cork happier to play in Thurles.

You think asking Clare fans to go the shorter journey to Thurles than off to Cork will lessen the crowd?

Of course they are.

Everyone’s a winner here.

I thought Cork requested Thurles, no?

Cork know they’re at nothing this year

Why would anyone give up home advantage? Seasn ticket holders/corporate types local businesses/sponsors all put out. Only winners are Tipp GAA/Thurles business and Clare supporters none of which Cork should give two figs about.

@Corkies who’ll take the frees? Must do my fantasy hurling

Also. Lol

Will be on GAAGO.

Johnny Murphy reffing it.

Christ. Is he not gone off the list yet

Clare camp still has a good few injuries with the number of lads not expected back til towards the end of the league close to double figures. Good few lads stood down with Covid over the past few weeks as well so I’d expect a fairly inexperienced side to play.

Cork should cover whatever the handicap is you would think

I would think he is the model student to the refereeing authorities

Was just thinking the exact same thing. Would Lehane take them I wonder? Are Twomey and Barrett playing colleges hurling so could 1 of the drop out and Horgan start?

Meant to quote Julio about the frees

You’d be hoping he’ll switch with Joyce but I wouldn’t be holding my breath.

Lehane is the obvious freetaker there, but he isn’t an inter-county free taker. Is Alan Connolly playing Fitzgibbon hurling?
