I’d have given someone else a start over Cahalane in the corner.
Needs game time, he is an important player. Lets be honest, it’s not as if any of the lads on the bench will get close to a starting place - O’Brien is the only one who has shown anything, I don’t think the two Midleton lads realistically belong on the panel. Daire O’Leary now ahead of O’Leary-Hayes and thank christ Downey isn’t at 3 anymore. Notable that Connery is nowhere to be seen.
Personally I’m happy enough with how they’ve done things with the exception of the half-forward spot - Twomey hasn’t gotten enough game-time, and they need to have another ball-winning option on the bench.
Hopefully we’ll see Roche at some stage.
