Limerick hurlers got double homework from kiely after it

How did Connolly and O’Leary do?

Connolly was utterly anonymous, O’Leary was very solid.

I can’t be having that if Limerick lost Cian lynch they’d simply rejig. It would weaken pretty much every aspect of our team.

Sean Finn is excellent but he’s an excellent corner back. You’d miss him but you could get away with it. Same with Kyle.

Lynch makes every single player in our team better and he makes all their jobs much easier whether it’s by his distribution or his ability to occupy defenders and create space for others.

Every player would suffer in his absence and it would make the oppositions task much easier.

The whole game plan would need to re drawn imo. He is a little bit of a maverick too and pretty underrated by everybody.

Lynch is the best hurler in the country. You can’t replace him

He should be in the conversation at least for the best hurler of the last 25 years.

He is magic.

This is a Limerick Hurling Forum

Apparently, Sean Powter"s done for the year with yet another hamstring injury picked playing intercounty & sigerson.

Finn is the best about under high ball, being physical in the tackle, great touch etc.

His only weakness is his speed, quick and mobile corner forwards will hurt him.

Still one of the best in the position in the Country.

Wouldnt be surprised if he calls it a day tbh. Injured far more than he’s not.

It’s amazing no team has put a quick and mobile forward on him in four years.

Ah jesus, even the great Dessie Hutchinson hasnt got a whole pile off him.

Finn is incredible and even seems a bit more likeable than a lot of his team mates.

How many goals have Limerick conceded in the last 4 years?

You’d have to laugh really Cork have won 3 AI hurling senior titles in the last 32 years same as Limerick

What?

How come no speedy inside forward has hurt him so far?

He’s not the quickest, you’re right, although he’s no slouch by any means. But his anticipation is second to none. He will always find a way to get out ahead of bullets like Kingston, or fleet footed clever players like Hutchinson.

Best fb line player I’ve ever seen.

Limerick have a setup that protects the fullback line at all costs and it works.

Finn is a super hurler but this he’s the greatest chat is over the top at this stage of his career.
