How long have Cork been putting four teams into these underage competitions? I see everyone else has two teams; good idea or not do you reckon?
NumbersâŚ
Sure but we usually put up one or two teams, the same as the other big counties.
Great way to see talent.
Lads in weaker teams could show more than so called betters.
Apparently better to get hammered out the gate with weak sidesin every game rather than go out and win the thing. Snowflake central.
Looking at the results they didnât get hammered.
No harm if you have the numbers and the coaches I donât think.
Are Ballyhea any good?
Average enough, the winner will be one of Bride Rovers, Fr. OâNeills and Fermoy.
Never got a run. Think Pat Ryan will play him a decent bit in the league though.
One man show really although they tend to outperform expectations so theyâve obviously got a handy team.
Wasnât there a lad on here bemoaning Donal Ăg not being involved enough with Cloyne and that they were certs to drop down to junior? They seem to be going reasonably well.

Cheers mate. Youghal going down, sad to see for a town that size that produced some fine hurlers.
Is mallow now a sandbox??

Kanturk knocking Midleton out was boxoffice. Ref blow everything and the tiny Midleton side were beneficiaries of some v soft frees which in reality were little more than the more manly Kanturkmen just horsing Midleton aside in the tight. Lehane was always a big threat and the Kanturk flullbackline fairly filled the togs anytime the ball hit the fullforward line in the 2nd half but they fully deserved it. Hopefully Colin Wlash will be involved with the senior nurlers next yr rather than the footballers. Midleton were poor champions.
