Frank’s secret stash

Cobwebs hanging off the team holiday fund account eventually alarmed some caretaker sufficiently to have a look

Tis so long since they deserved a holiday they forgot they had it

Cork

Boys over on PROC have Powter gone for the yr with a hamstring. Poor cnut, I doubt we’ll see him line out for Cork again.

Minor panel this year, or the majority of it. Supposed to be a good crop, but they say that every year. Lost a load of players through the years to other sports. O’Leary, Wilk, O’Conner, Leahy, Buckley and O’Connell are supposed to be the standout players. @mickee321

Just noticed @caoimhaoin 's club has a rep this year.

Kev would be happy to see him listed above the young lad from cobh…optics are everything

Lads on PROC saying Colm Spillane’s hurling career might be over due to all of the injuries.

When are the hurlers out next? Weekend of the 17th?

Can’t see us doing much, few positives on Saturday - O’Connor, Millerick, Kingston and the defence played well in spurts. Not sure we have the personnel to improve on what we saw Saturday, and I can’t see us living with physical teams like Galway/Tipperary.

Cork were good. A big improvement from last year. They need another forward to step up and take chances, especially when hoggie is on an off day

Thats it, i cant think of anyone to come in and improve matters.

Not a certainty. One of Clare and Cork will get a bye to round 2 qualifiers on the 24th. After that its three games every week until the Semi Final on 7 August

Shane Barrett or Connolly for Cahalane maybe

Was told yday Spillane will be available but can’t chance him with no game time

Don’t see how Spillane would improve us.

Cahalane was poor but I’m not a big fan of dropping young lads after one outing (admittedly he isn’t that young).

If he is dropped I’d rather see someone with a bit of presence start there like Dalton or Downey or Twomey.

Some physically huge 16/17 year olds on that Cork team. Besides the “stars” of the team Finn, Healy and O’Connell look like handy hurlers. O’Sullivan off the bench was very good as well, only U-16.
