Hoggie commits to 2ā22
Great news weāll have at least one hall of famer still hurling next year
St. Nicks and BāTown football in free fall at this stage.
TBF Kanturk, the master poachers, are even going as far as Lithuania to nick lads. Hard for the Blackpool lads to deal with that.
Kanturk really opened up in the third quarter and rattled off five points in quick succession from Paul Walsh (2), Ian Walsh, Lorcan OāNeill, and Lorcan McLoughlin. It was also a proud day for championship debutant Grantis Basicktas as the Lithuanian native clipped over a free and his sideās seventh of the second half.
Nemo also beat.
Is he the lad playing in goals for their hurlers?? I saw somewhere Nash referenced a young foreign born lad who was an outstanding prospect in goals.
Yes. Heās still a minor
Paudie Kissane still at it, dear lord.
I just realised the GAA banned clubs from showing their games live on facebook, youtube etc. Complete lack of respect for people unable to attend and for the clubs themselves.
People can go to the games mate. No games were streamed until covid anyway. 2 live games on Irish Examiner this weekend.
County boards are also charging a small fortune to stream where available. I donāt know about cork but they were looking for ā¬10 to stream senior games in Limerick. Same price as attending the game. Saying that capacity increases this week should allow everyone who wants to go to a game get to one.
ā¬10 is nothing to pay, will you away and shite.
Free in Cork.

Hard to get overly excited looking at this roster of games. 'Barrs/Charleville is interesting. 'Barrs with their best underage crop since the early 90s. Charleville ended up being ārelegatedā to Senior A in the restructuring despite being far superior to some of the weaker sides in Premier. Youād imagine Damien Cahalane will be on Fitzgibbon and limit his influence enough for the Barrs to win.
Glen/Douglas - could go anyway. Douglas have a big tail their side which gets found out eventually. Hopefully Mark Howell goes well, precisely the kind of athletic profile in the halfforward Cork need going forward.
The elephant in room here is Imokilly. Im assuming all those Imokilly Cork U20/minors over the last few yrs are playing with them rather than UCC. If so I make them hot favourites to make it 4 out of 5. The Glen would be the mostly likely to take them out imo. If they were out of the picture Id have the great underachievers Midleton and Sars as most likely champions.
Which Premier sides are they far superior to?
Iād say they will give the Barrs plenty of it. How many of the Barrs young tyros are availableā¦ None of the minors anyway
Anyone eligible to play for UCC will play for UCC.
Thatās the way its always been and ever shall be.
Stream for Blackrock - Erinās Own match this evening here.
Donāt get all the hype about the Barrs. If Charleville are a good price they are worth a punt.
Bishopstown to beat Newtown? Think you are a good bit off there.
