Cork GAA - They're going home! - sponsored by Sports Direct and Super Valu

Some big hits today. Biggest problem in Cork is that overcarrying is totally ignored by refs and leads to a rake of frees for holding in the tackle as defenders have no other option. That and a generation of Newtown style coaching takes time to eradicate.

Sure at least we donā€™t have the 4 semi finalists picked before a ball is thrown in.

Theyā€™re queuing up to have a go at Cork hurling.

If Sars get out of Cork they will have a great chance of beating Kilmalock or Patrickswell.

When was the last time a cork team played in a senior hurling club final?

2015 was it, Glen, 2016?

The Glen beat Patrickswell, well beaten by Ballyea. Last time the champions of Cork played in Munster I believe.

A bucko from Waterford, The Gentle County, lecturing Cork on physicality. It couldnt get worse.

Ah theyā€™d shit themselves at the sight of them

Donā€™t know how lads from Waterford of all counties can criticise the state of our club championship. Roanmore would be in a relegation fight in Limerick.

I actually think the Cork senior hurling championship is a very good standard, and seriously competitive. Anyone of the 6 teams left can win it. A concern about the physicality but it depends on the referee in Cork a lot of the time. Too many tippy tappy refs.

Cork championship is even, some good games today but standard is not amazing at the moment.

They would in their fuck

Whereā€™s the lecture? Itā€™s just stating the obvious. Iā€™m watching and have played against cork club teams for years and itā€™s as soft and harmless as anything. A Cork club team hasnā€™t been competitive in Munster with years

Why Limerick?
