No and yes.

Rob Downey played a lot better than SOā€™LH who was anonymous from start to finish. There was plenty of intensity but some of the Glen stickwork is shocking at this level.

This year, yes.

No and no.

The younger brother is a better prospect, not as leggy as Robert.

Great crowd today. Officially 13,000 but looked 20,000 to me. Hopefully standard improves in years to come and crowds will get even bigger. Standard in Cork is extremely poor at the minute.

PUC has a seating capacity of 21k and the upper tier on the South stand was closed yesterday.

He set you up lovely for that.

Fair enough. Still the biggest crowd at a county final all year. Hopefully the likes of the Barrs keep improving and crowds get even bigger.

Still a bigger crowd than Laois hurling and football finals combined.

It was 500 or so officially, but I reckon there was 35,000 at the Laois Intermediate Hurling Final.

Iā€™ve been a huge admirer of Lehane for years but the Cork lads are very down on him.

I canā€™t remember where you were on the Lehane debate the last time it was had. I always think you canā€™t afford to write off players that talented, and itā€™s the managerā€™s job to get the best out of them. Iā€™d say being dropped completely would provide plenty of motivation too.
