Ok, wasn’t Sweetnam from there. Pretty sure he was down as Doheny’s when he hurled for Cork

That makes a bit more sense

That UCC panel is fair strong.

Them and Mary I…neither will probably win it!

What does NF 1st year mean?

Assume non fresher - i.e they have changed course but not in their first year or third level. As Freshers can’t play Fitz

Got it.

The greatest of all time, Bill Cooper, is hanging them up

Doehenys is dunmanway. Randall og is nearby.

Sad news.

They’re not Dunmanway, They’re from D’outside

Bill Cooper had a few very good years midfield. Rarely left us down. His hurling improved a pile from when he first started for Cork.

You’d think that would nearly be it as far as retirements go in the squad.

Good interview with John Fenton. Seems a gent.

A lot of older guys have left the panel in the last two years. Nash, Joyce, Walsh, Cadogan, Cooper, Spillane, Mcdonnell.

On the entire panel for next year only Hoggie, Harnedy and Alan Cadogan are over the age of 25. It will be a very young panel. I’d expect a very different Cork team next year with new players in the fb line, hb line and midfield.

Damien Cahalane is still there surely?
