They’ll murder them

Thurles have 67 in their squad for the Rice Cup final. Midleton only the 46.

What happened may I ask?

Father of one of players passed away

But connected to a couple more players?

Through the club anyway maybe a nephew as well

Two only.

1st cousin was injured but normally plays centre back.

Shit I just heard the story this morning. Absolutely tragic. For them to compete, especially the lad who was outstanding is some going for young lads. Hail hail.

Words fail to do those lads justice.

One of the most heroic performances I’ve seen, never mind from a 16 year old.

So much for the “red wave”. Last two minor sides distinctly average.

We had a couple of good crops. Not that different from anyone else really.

Sounds like a good win last night, again pulling it out at the end. Two more injuries with Daly and Cremin? Not much time for Lyons to get fit if we are out next weekend.

I wouldn’t underestimate how important last nights victory is. Every chance of back to back U20 All Ires now off this group.

Look what happened the last time Cork put back to back* u21 titles….

*pretty sure it was back to back in 97 & 98

It happened two years ago.

Unless you’re placing an asterisk on it due to Covid squeezing the years together

Any titles won during Covid have an asterisk beside it, fact.

Anyone hear the Barrs are sniffing around Tommy Wilk? Be a good replacement for Ben O’Connor.
