extremely good first choice forwards but the gap from that to the second choice is major
Conor O’Sullivan has left the panel
Cork short now for any defensive cover

The old saying that is’s harder to get off the Cork team than on it seems to be applying here. Very strange that O’Sullivan got hardly any game time during the league.

Why?
Here @caoimhaoin, weren’t you telling us this lad was going to the wonder corner back of the future not so long ago?
Conor O’Sullivan is a fine player, that’s a big loss to Cork even if he wasn’t starting (I think he should have been). I wonder does he have any Limerick connections, get him playing for a real hurling county
He was injured for most of the league. For whatever reason management preferred Kearney and Cahalane over him.

lack of playing time
I think he should be starting but he has been injured and fell down the pecking order a bit.

Has been covered already.
But he is a class hurler and corner back.
He’ll be back next year when they have a new management. Ridiculous selecting going on trying to put square pegs in round holes. The management are clearly under pressure, the reaction to beating Dublin in a league semi final was quite bizarre and very un-Cork.

2-9 to 0-3 down after 15. 6 down with 5 to go. Celebrations were because of the manner of the win - any team would do that. Also because a hammering to Cunnigham would have provoked an element of cork to say I told you so.
Once Walsh was moved from centre back Cork came back into it. That back fired badly but they rescued it.
Momentum is an amazing thing in sport.

Agree, momentum is huge.
But the whole thing with Cunningham is pathetic and shows dreadful insecurity.

could do with Conor O’Sullivan back! Looked lightweight on defensive options before his departure.
Not sure Conor can register at such a late stage in the school year.
William Egan back on the panel according to the Echo.
Alan O’Connor has come out of retirement from Middle Earth to rejoin the Cork footballers.
Reaching a league final, a former all Ireland winner returning to the panel.
Cubby has mugged us all off - good and proper!
Jesus.
Grahem Calanan and Gardiner next.

Egan won’t be back. Off to America to play.
Cork and KK drew in a challenge yesterday evening.
