Only saw the other thread now
In fairness, corks weak point has never been underestimating themselves. At anything. Ever.
32k capacity announced. Tickets will be scarce for this.
Statement from the Munster Council in full.
At a meeting of the Munster GAA CC tonight the Munster senior and minor hurling finals were fixed for Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday July 13th. The official capacity of Pairc Ui Chaoimh is 32,168.
32,168 is more than enough tickets to cover those who purchased season tickets from the respective county boards.
GAA really revels in being an amateur organisation at times.
32k FFS Cork will get 25k! Anyway lets go down there and close that fuckin shithole by beating the cunts.
The high horse brigade is out in full force i see
On that logic why not stage the AllIreland outside Croker then - bring it on a tour of the almost never full county grounds?
Finals are usually played at the national stadium. It makes sense to play earlier round games at the home venue of one of the competing sides, especially when the stadium capacity is more than sufficient like in this instance.
Oh bandage you are a tonic!
Where is that retard glasagusban now. Stupid fucker.
True. TBF we usually do well at U-14 to U-17 and thatâs usually where the little bit of hype comes from. Unfortunately, as we saw last year, winning at the younger grades means nothing at Minor level.
I suspect that Cork team will lose this by 8-10 points, unless Landers/Ring are really special. Gunning is a big loss from the full-back line, one of our more experienced hurlers.
To Frank
Once more this legend of Cork GAA comes up trumps
The greatest Cork man ever, no question.
Post reported.
Any word on when tickets will go on sale?
Cork will make some changes that will make the capacity allowed by H&S 37,000.
Apparently.
Limerick GAA to receive initial 10,000- limited amount will go on sale at Centra /Supervalu outlets after minor pairings have been sorted.
Live 95FM now.
They had Finbar McCarthy, the GAA reporter from Corkâs 96FM, on (along with Liam Aherne, Jerome OâConnell and some other fella). Joe Nash asked him why Pairc Ui Chaoimh was hosting this game when âitâs falling down.â
Finbar - âlook, Iâm outnumbered here 4-1, I wonât tolerate being mocked. Iâll hang up if it continuesâ
Joe Nash (laughing) - âOk, ok tell us how you can host this game when the capacity may be 10k less than attended last year.â
Finbar - âthatâs it, Iâm hanging up.â
Joe was stunned when he actually did. Great radio.
Whatâs up your arse pal?
