Cork v Limerick Munster SHC Final 2014
Live 95FM now.

They had Finbar McCarthy, the GAA reporter from Cork’s 96FM, on (along with Liam Aherne, Jerome O’Connell and some other fella). Joe Nash asked him why Pairc Ui Chaoimh was hosting this game when “it’s falling down.”

Finbar - “look, I’m outnumbered here 4-1, I won’t tolerate being mocked. I’ll hang up if it continues”

Joe Nash (laughing) - “Ok, ok tell us how you can host this game when the capacity may be 10k less than attended last year.”

Finbar - “that’s it, I’m hanging up.”

Joe was stunned when he actually did. Great radio.
Bahahaha!! are you serious?? :D:D:D

The Cork lads are rattled.

It was hilarious.

Finbar was ratty as fuck, made for great radio. Not something you can say about Live 95FM too often. It’ll surely be up on soundcloud or youtube soon enough.

Chairman Mann on there now. Like getting blood out of a stone trying to get information out of him. Painful.

Hammy Dawson is on now :stuck_out_tongue:

FAO Hammy Dawson Backers.

Hammy is live on the air now.

What did Hammy have to say?

Whinging about fairness as usual.

He was saying the game should be moved to facilitate as many supporters as possible. Very reasonable argument, in fairness.

Anyway it’s done now. Fair old scramble for tickets if we only get an allocation of 9k or 10k. I’d imagine Centra/Supervalu’s batch of tickets will sell out in a few minutes whenever they go on sale.

Has the ref been decided yet?

Frank Murphy is still weighing up the candidates.

Ah I wouldn’t have thought so, dodgy. There was barely a handful at the league game in Pairc Ui Rinn so a few hundred tickets should be plenty.

Brian Gavin will be the referee.

Sure can t you watch Cork getting the trophy on telly [this is John don’t want to write this]

I wonder what words the Corrigan Brothers will rhymn with Pairc ui Chaoimh in their ballad to the Limerick Hurlers after the Munster final. Weave, heave, leave, peave? the opportunities are endless

It writes itself

We were in Pairc Ui Chaoimh
We decided to leave
As we were being beaten out the gate
And didn’t want to be late
Home for the tea
Due to traffic congestion by the Lee

Why would they write a song for Cork?
