I would say that the bandwagon element that these teams would draw for a final would be 24000 alone especially with it being Corks 3rd game. Then there would be another 20000+ regular gaa people.
If Cork think this game is going to be a stroll then theyâll get a shock, there wonât be much in it either way.
It wonât be a stroll at all, but theyâll die on their backs rather than lose a Munster Final in the Pairc.

To be honest if anyone in Limerick thinkâs they will be leaving Cork as munster champions then they will be in for a surprise themselves. We are are Cork while you are Limerick. We will have too much hurling craft for you lot.I suggest that ye bring the munster cup for one last tour of the county because itâs going back to the real home of hurling in a months time.
We are going to win the AI this year pal but keep that under your hat, beat Tipp and Cork away, dethrone Clare in the semis and take the cats in the final, simples you heard it here first
As for the fella saying that losing is not the end of the world.Bollox to that.We want a trophy we havenât won one since 2006 and im sure Limerick would love to prove that last year wasnât a fluke by beating Cork yet again but this time in Cork!
It would concern me to have this massive break from Munster Final to AI semi and be playing Dublin, KK or Clare coming in after a couple of good games.
However what would be nice is if we got Galway just after they taken a major scalp in some ridiculous thriller of a game. Weâd bate them out the gate after that.
Midfield will be some battle next day out⌠Walsh will tower over Jim Bob and Browne but they will harry the fuck out of him and Kearney. Limerick will need everyone on song for this and hopefully Hannon and Hickey will have come from the last day. Id start how we finished last day with Dowling in ff and Downes out the field.
And limerick will, or should, die on their backs rather than lose a Munster final as reigning champions. I donât know if the venue in this day and age is as important as it used to be. FWIW, I think if the demand is there , they should switch it to Semple, but rotten and all as PUC may be, and Iâm only going on reports as Iâve never been there, it is a part of hurling folklore, and a last hurrah is no bad thing. They should pack the place to the rafters with the maximum possible capacity. I think that cork look a better side from what Iâve seen, and should win, but who knows? Really looking forward to it though.
And in its very first game it became famous. Of course this is just an upgrade like the one before it. The Athletic Grounds have been there for a long long time.
Your shit talkability has gone thru the roof this past 48 hours.
What age are you that youâve never been to the PĂĄirc?
Some fucking shithole of a place anyway. Probably the only stadium in the World where you are more comfortable in the terrace than the stand.
Not that many games played in the Pairc really. And if he is a KK man or Leinster or Connacht man then its very unlikely heâd ever be there.

The reason Pairc Ui Chaoimh became instantly famous in 1976 was because Frank Murphy pulled a stroke and brought Galway and Wexford there in 1976.
The Cork Athletic Grounds bore no relation to PuC. It was so unfit for purpose that Cork hadnât hosted a Munster final since the 40s.
Limerick will have to be very careful with their tackling the next day as Horgan is a machine on the frees.
However a number of the frees Cork got the last day were for lads out in front winning the ball and then going down. These kind of frees were not given in Thurles in the Limerick match though so its hard to know.
Cadogan did well the yesterday but he was against a particularly inexperienced corner back and Iâd fancy our lads to cope a bit better.
Midfield will be the winning and losing of the match, and over the last few years I would have said weâd be killed in there, but if the two lads perform like the last day weâll be more than a match.
The Cork Centre back was decent yesterday in the sweeping role but he had no one against him either due to Clareâs bizarre tactics.
Cork will rightly be favourites and will fancy their chances but Limerick never feared Cork.
Iâd like to see a few tweaks from the last day with Hickey at CB where he excelled at the end of the Tipp game with Walsh coming in behind him. Heâd be the kind of sticky cunt whoâd make Cadogans life a lot harder. Although maybe someone like Condon battering the shit out of Cadogan would upset him. He looked to have his brothers temperament yesterday (i.e. ratty cunt).
I think Tobin should be dropped as well.
Honan caused Cork a bit of bother late on yesterday which might suggest Downes might be the man for full forward with Dowling beside him and Mulcahy playing deeper.
