Weâll be back to relatively relative normality in the next 6 months. Masks and social distancing to stay until next summer probably and then fully back to normal I would bet.

Mandatory masks were brought in last summer when we had single digit numbers pretty much.
Weâre opening up test centres left, right and center for people to go in with no symptoms.
I donât see this ending for at least another couple of years.

Now that hotel quarantining is in itâs going to be difficult to disband it. Donnelly and FF will want to maintain it for political reasons, NPHET will want to maintain it to prevent new âstrainsâ entering, even though the vaccines work against all of them so far.
Itâs just such a pointless, useless thing to bring in this late in the day. 12 months ago, yes, but now with multiple vaccines available? Lunacy.
Just think about it. People who are fully vaccinated being forced to quarantine in a hotel for a fortnight. Christ Almighty.
Iâd love to see it beaten in court and an election called in the fall out.

I donât agree with MHQ, but 12 months ago it might have made sense when there was no vaccines available.
If they want to implement it, they should implement it fully. That means it would apply to all countries, not just some on a list. But this half measure they implement then makes fuck all sense.

Its a respitory virus mate, 1 case is what it started with, the cat is out of the bag here since last April 2020- weâve 400 plus cases a day for weeks after a level 5 lockdown since Christmas.
