I wouldn’t be risking to vaccinate a child, they seem to be fairly low risk in the grand scheme of things. If the majority of adults are vaccinated I think we should be ok and no need to begin vaccinating children.

I’m disgusted that MHQ doesn’t go nearly far enough. Anyone coming into Ireland from any country should have to undergo mandatory quarantine until the earlier of a) 63.5% of the adult population are vaccinated or b) domestic travel restrictions on Irish citizens are removed by the government.

It’s time to get real and completely eliminate the possibility of variants of concern seeding in the country. It’s time to listen to the experts like Tomás Ryan and Gerry Killeen.

So, according to Donnelly (and those who advise him) and Irish Citizen who is fully vaccinated, has a negative Covid test three days before arrival, and can self-isolate with family in the middle of nowhere in the west of Ireland, arrives at Shannon airport from USA/Canada/Italy/France, etc and is then put on a bus and taken with other passengers on a 2-3 hour bus trip to a hotel in Dublin to quarantine for 12 days at a cost to that person of at least 2k . . . I’m just trying to get my head around that and what exactly it accomplishes . . . am I missing something here, or is this his master plan to rid the country of Covid?
