In our day we did not have our lives put on hold for over a year due to a pandemic. Its easy to come and say ‘in our day’. Our day is not their day. Id imagine if it was, we would be doing the same.

But there’s no evidence anything outside a small minority of people of their age are doing what the gobshites dancing yesterday were doing. If there was, you’d see it.

Right. Back in the day “ah would you fuck off” would have been seen as a fairly harmless way of telling someone you thought they were talking shit. Obviously it is something different now as both you and your hero have taken grave offence to it so I withdraw that remark and apologise to you both.

Nobody took offence at you saying “fuck off”. It was merely pointed out that “fuck off” is not a reasonable point.

Whereas you did seem to take offence pretty easily at my posts last night, for some reason.

Somebody taking offence and then saying that others are taking offence is quite the INTERNET rabbit hole trick. You should probably ask yourself why you have to resort to it.

I’ve often wondered how calling people Nuala and Breda works. I think it’s supposed to imply that somebody is being “hysterical”, but calling somebody “Nuala” or “Breda” sort of comes across as, you know, hysterical.

Guys. Lockdown needs to continue. Stop thinking about yourselves and start thinking about the vulnerable and elderly that we need to protect. Those who can afford to make sacrifices, must. This is not about snowflakes who can’t forgo some of their entitlement of liberties, this is about making personal sacrifices to protect the vulnerable and needy. Cop on.

Nope. We made our sacrifices and governments failed us. We locked down back them to put in place the systems and procedures to manage this and they did not do it. The initial lockdown was only meant to be for a few months,
