Covid outbreak in St Gerards Bray.
All that is spot on. Same message coming from my pilot mate in AL who also flew the Beijing missions. On half pay for over a year and now told to expect a three month lay off this winter. All because Ireland has taken the most restrictive and irrational approach to travel in the EU and yet hasn’t provided any support to airlines.
Good to hear that about the masks. I have a horrible feeling we’ll be pricking around with masks for the rest of the year.
And lads were giving out about a few vaccines
But we have to wear them everywhere at the moment, even in the street.
When does the school term run to?
End of June
Ah sure it’s hardly worth Ewa and Pawel having to come back in for the few weeks so
Anyone else notice that the “Travel Advisory Group” has disappeared? Now it’s simply Tony Holohan writing to the minister recommending countries for the list.
They’ll be going back alright. Shure aren’t they all vaccinated?
San Marino, thankfully, are still on the list.
Wouldnt a pilot on half pay still be on 100k a year? Not bad still.
Mike and Esteban will probably vilify her now.
I’d very much doubt it. Money has been tailing off since 9/11.
Commercial pilot with less than 5 years experience would do well to be making much more than 50k I’d say
Go way, that low, bloody hell.
