That article is from January which is a million miles from where we are now and was in the Guardian which is basically like taking your news from Fox or CNN ie completely biased. The vast majority of people with Covid in hospital in the western world were/are either very old, very old with underlying health conditions,middle aged with serious health issues or caught Covid in hospital so not that surprising although unfortunate that they end up back in hospital. There is literally no disputing that, it is just a fact. It is very unfortunate for those people because we know Covid is a deadly killer for anyone in those groups but that’s what it is unfortunately.
The only reason I asked you to look into it more is if you are anxious about the headline a further analysis of the data might ease your mind a little. Thanks for digging a little deeper though you offer a decent retort to the OIUTF thoughts on here usually.

I think in the next six months to a year we’ll see a big divide between the first world and the rest of the world, especially given what’s happening in India. You’d seriously fear for the likes of Bangladesh and Pakistan. Then there’s the African countries to think about, the narrative about them up to now has been quite similar to that around India up until pretty recently.

I saw a news piece on Chile and Covid a few days ago. It’s basically a Junior B/Pub League vaccine they are using. The were talking to people who had gotten it and were still trying to get a jab of one of super league ones. Apparently there’s a bit of a black market for Pfizer, JJ, Moderna down there.

I think it is too. And we in western society will prioritise forcing not at risk people to take the vaccine over sharing the vaccine with those who need it in developing and 3rd world countries. Same as it ever was unfortunately. Shit rolls downhill.
