A very silly argument all the same⌠The underlying conditions paved the way for other illnesses to be more deadly.
Europe has had 24 million cases and 540k deaths - 2.2%
North America has had 24 million cases and 520k deaths - 2.1%
Asia has had 21 million cases and 342k deaths - 1.6 %
South America has had 13 million cases and 366k deaths - 2.8%
Africa has had 3 million cases and 68k deaths - 2.2%
Oceania has had 48k cases 1k deaths - 2 %
So despite all the climate and ethnicity claims made here - on a massive scale it all looks very similar doesnât it.
Asia done well because theyâve had previous outbreaks and were better prepared seems to be the general consensus.
Other than that South America hasnât done great they must never get the sun
I doubt this very much. In the same way students and teachers are not considered close contacts due to working in a âcontrolled environmentâ
Itâs not really. Covid doesnât have to be a factor in any way, shape or form. Tony just needs an insignificant fragment of âaâ virus and heâs good to go
They are about to change the rules to allow it but for now they isolate
Up to 40 junior doctors at University Hospital Galway are self-isolating amid a major Covid-19 outbreak at the hospital.
Multiple senior medical sources have confirmed that scores of staff have tested positive, while others who are close contacts have been ordered to self-isolate.
There is growing anger and concern among doctors over the current crisis, which will see many doctors spend Christmas alone in rented accommodation.
Meanwhile, a new Emergency Department, which was due to begin operation in November to facilitate the flow of patients through the hospital, has been held until after January.
Did they all lockdown though?
youâre seething
Asia has done well because they just make up the figures.
Definition of close contact in school was to be within 2m of someone positive for 15 mins without wearing a mask. From reading that article majority are out due to testing positive which is opposite to what you said above
Africa have only had 3 million cases. Forget sweden or nz we should be following their model
Another stupid one. If you test negative for Covid - two tests - first one three days after contact and then 3 days later you still have to isolate for 14 days even if no symptoms.
If you test positive for Covid you are ok to go back to life 10 days after your test assuming no symptoms
It. Makes. No. Sense.
They are also out as close contacts. Even with negative tests. Plan to now let them back with negative tests.
Ah thats not stupid at all. The 14 days is because you can develop symptoms up to that timeframe.
Tracking Bitcoin.
If your a close contact dot answer the phone (if thw positive case has told you) ring your doctor and say you have symptoms. Dont mention the close contact. If your test is negative you only need to isolate for 72 hours after symptoms stop. Or 72 hours after test if you lied
You implied that most were out as they were negative and close contacts. That is incorrect according to article you quoted above.
Even with two negative tests?
How do they know positive test is ok after 10 days - there is no second test of them ?
Because it you are positive you actually have covid and after 10 days of positive test you are no longer spreading it.
Not really to me to be honest. I think the others have evidence too you seem to be suggesting they are completely spoofing. You were exaggerating imo. Both sides think theyâre right and have evidence. I know too little about it to know whoâs right.
