@Bandage was doing his bit on that front earlier. There’s lads waiting for buses again.

Lucky it won’t be his decision.

He takes things like that personally

fuckall vaccinations done in the last week in Ireland, it’s going to be a long 12 months with these clowns in charge

I think I’d prefer the Covid to living on that shit heap.

My friend is off on holidays in Costa Rica. Her sister flew back yesterday and her father collected her. She said the GardaĂ were very polite to him and directed him where to pull in and wait for her, no question of fines or any of that nonsense. Youd probably have to be a right thick to talk yourself into actually getting a fine.

They’re making it up now really.

That seems like a bit of a mad thing to be saying

I was literally about to post the same thing.

A lovely story from a random COVID patient on 9 o’clock news there too.

People need to stay home alone until they are no longer depressed

That’s actually a disgraceful comment for a medic to make. What evidence is there to back it up.

That’s it. That comment has done it for me. I’m out, guys.

Imagine people being depressed about having their livelihoods halted for a year, socialising pretty much banned, unable to meet family, unable to attend the funerals of relatives or friends or unable to leave the country without fear of being fined.

These NPHET head bangers live on a different planet.

This “long covid” stuff will prolong this for a while yet. Even though there is pretty much zero academic evidence of this as it’s all too recent.
