I must have heard of 40 people who have it in the past week. One 40 something year old with no under lying conditions is in ICU. Most of the rest are ranging from mild to moderate flu like symptoms.

Bollox. We can predict that it will behave like other airborne respiratory viruses and that it will more or less disappear in the summer, that it becomes less dangerous etc. We can also predict that lockdowns will make fuck all differenceā¦given that they have been tried round the world and have made fuck all difference.

This does seem to be following the pattern of the regular flu. A gradual build up in December and then an explosion in the two weeks after Christmas.
How many cases would we be having now without a lockdown?
I predict that when people come to their senses, and when an illusion of journalism returns, that someone will put this to tony and luke. I suspect tony and luke will make some vague allusion to herd immunity and sagely intimate that allowing some ācommunity spreadā mightnāt necessarily be a bad thingā¦that it was all for our own good in fact. The useful idiots will be impressed with this and ryan will thank them for appearing on the late late.

What was the drinking culture like for fellas in their teens and 20s in your day fagan. I know the thing of women getting absolutely shitfaced only started in the 90s but when did men start doing it? By getting shitfaced I mean double spirits red bull absolutely paralytic drunk regularly the way nearly every fella now in their 30s or 40s did. I know fellas in the older generations only drank pints really.
