How many would have died in Ireland if a sensible strategy had been pursued like Sweden and the effort put into infectious controls in hospitals and nursing homes rather than the nonsensical measures taken? Answer the question coward.
According to medical experts in the UK it is unsafe to reopen due to the dangers of the Delta variant. The flip flopping maniac Fauci is warning we cannot allow it into the US, even though itâs already here. Vaccines are less effective against this variant than prior variants. It is only a matter of time before another variant emerges that vaccines are useless against, thatâs how viruses evolve.
Should Ireland stay in lockdown until the Delta variant is gone? Should Ireland stay in lockdown because it is virtually certain a variant will emerge that current vaccines will not work against.
Have you gone back to the office yet? I think you predicted January 2022, you should update it to January 2024.

Iâm beginning to think the term âvariantsâ is being thrown out there to scare the shit out of people. When a virus (any virus) enters a human, the virus will automatically mutate multiple times. If there are 29,000 letters in the genetic code and only a handful of them change, our immune systems can still see the whole in a three-dimensional way, and can subsequently deal with them. These âvariantsâ do not cause new diseases.

They cause a variant of the existing disease. Covid -21 is just about to launch, Covid-19 was just the trial run.

You say Sweden had a sensible approach and Irelandâs was a shitshow. They had a 40% higher death rate than Ireland. Your definition of sensible is different to people who place life ahead of the dollar. Youâre a strange one.

A sensible approach to restrictions. They did no better than Ireland in protecting their elderly in nursing homes, actually maybe worse. A staggering 70% of Swedenâs deaths in the first wave from Mar - May were in nursing homes, an abject failure in a country where people pay some of the highest taxes in the world.
Iâve already pointed out at least 10 times to you the primary reason for Swedish vs Irish death rate. Sweden has a much older population, 21% are over 65 (2100k) compared to Irelandâs 13% (650k). If the same percentage died in the various age groups, Ireland and Swedenâs death rate is roughly the same.
Anyway Iâm done with this as you donât have the balls to back up your claim of much higher deaths if a sensible and logical approach had been taken.
