Coronavirus Thread (Markey hates Immigrants )

Thereā€™s a big migration out of Cali, 135k more moved out in the past year than moved in, to Texas mainly and other lower cost states with no state tax and houses at 1/3 the price. HP going was a big shock, they literally founded Silicon Valley.

The introverts are going to get quite the shock in September

The half ā€˜nā€™ half craic will never really come to fruition for a lot of people. Our place sent out a note there a few weeks back that they would support full time office/remote working, and employees were free to apply for either, but they couldnā€™t support mixed mode working. Too much of a headache.

Full remote is a bad idea.

Depends on role/department. If I went into my designated office thereā€™d likely be no one there from my dept anyways. But yeah I could badly do with some working time outside of the four walls of the house at this stage.

Lads will realise that quick enough when some lad in India does their job for half the price.

And three times the cost.

Youā€™ll be working for Ashutosh before the year is out.

Heā€™s already been automated. They just havenā€™t told him yet.

I might upgrade to the premium whataboutery package next year!

Jesus, mad how you still think youā€™re right having got so much wrong in the last year. There are far more variables involved. To think that Ireland would have the same number of fatalities if they hadnā€™t reintroduced restrictions at Christmas is just wrong. To argue otherwise is laughably similar to your ā€˜done with Covidā€™ prediction.

So long as he applies the same logic to payroll as he does to validating P/L reports and Invoice formats that will probably work out OK for me.

It did, but at least it was a start. That industry has been absolutely decimated over the past year. Iā€™m seeing gigs for September/ October from touring bands still getting cancelled/ postponed

Itā€™s done @myboyblue

Ashutosh and logic :smiley::smiley:

Limerick, Limerick, Limerick

Weā€™re smashing it but worryingly many counties are above the national average :astonished:
