The reasoning of this is to be “fair” to small businesses I see and it’s happening in Ireland too. I notice how the justifications for things have changed in the months since the first lockdown as the the irrationality of their regulations takes over.
If every restaurant turns themselves into a green grocer, where does the “fairness” doctrine end? We all go from shop to shop to be nice to all our local businesses and have something to do.
At some point these idiots need to go back to first principles.
