Coursing 2010/11 - The Road to Clonmel

He might not be the only one not to make the cut for Clonmel. I have some sombre news to bring concerning Tournafulla Man and his own attendance at the National Meeting. We are planning on flying out to mid Europe later that week and if that goes ahead he won’t go to Clonmel due to a lack of funds. These bankers have a lot to answer for.

Thats a huge loss to the Clonmel economy. Europe getting all the best deals lately.

Are you coming to the National Meeting yourself mate? You’ll have a riot.

I’m a definite possibly. I have a contact in the hotel business in Clonmel and have submitted an inquiry regarding the possibility of being given a bed for the night or two.

You can add me to that enquiry.* We should go down there for the call over on the Sunday night i hear it’s a hoot.

*And Tournafulla Man provisionally.

Done and done. I stated there may be a few. Its an awful long shot as the place has been booked out for months from what I hear but they might build an extension for us. I said a carpet floor with a cushion to throw the head down would be adequate as long as we got a fry for breakfast!

Ah fuck off ya bollix! The crack is good in cricklewood I hear.

Clonmel is going to be mega

hup hup…

Anyone have the standings for Champion Stakes points at this moment in time? I want to keep abreast of where Soundmanpaddy lies in the order of merit.

Heartiest congratulations to all concerned.

TFK Coursing Club are really on the ascendency, and now it is looking icreasingly likely that we will be double handed in Clonmel this year… hup hup is right !!

Leger night in Limerick will be the night when the awards of TFK Coursing Supporters Pup of the Year and TFK Coursing Supporters All Age Dog of The Year will be presented. Both categories looking like a no brainer at this stage. The real suspense will be who will be inducted into the TFK Coursing Supporters Hall of Fame Award. We should probably be accepting nominations for that shortly.

SS** mentioned Fethard Lady being in foal to Saddlers wells, producing a 2x3 of Saddlers wells. As I commented, a bit close.

So, what do you make of this.

A trial stake winner last weekend !!

My accommodation for Clonmel was all but confirmed at the weekend. I just need to sort out the time off work now which I can’t do until the New Year. I look forward to hijinx.

I wonder has MAD our accommodation sorted yet?
Our crew is swelling with every cup SoundManPaddy brings home.

With four entries in the two-course duffer in Doon, could Ballymac Maeve be the next dual purpose sire sensation?

The cunts won’t stay past 450yrds on the track, so I couldnt see then lasting through a 64 dog stake… Very fast but far from durable.

Coursing sires out of tough 525 - 600 yrd bitches, might be the job though.

This litter are making waves this year. http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?p=1295704

Great impromptu gathering of the extended TFKCSC at the Ledger last night.
Dolph Lungren and Tournafulla Man are very excited about the upcoming festivities.
