You actually wasted time typing these…

As for the rest of your drivel, you now have strawmanned me into hating the brits for some reason, the rest of your painful post is your own honest biased opinions, about your home city. Thats lovely.

I disagree

Dublin gets lots of visitors - fact. Many of them start there, do a quick tour of Ireland and leave again via Dublin — Many more come on stags and hens or for a piss up …plenty for other reasons… Nothing wrong with any of that at all.

It still doesnt take from the fact that as cities go, Dublin is bland on the eye. I say that as someone that likes Dublin…

Can we all not just admit that and move on? -

:frowning:

First crack in the Dubl-iance.

We can all admit that you like Dublin

So weve moved on from your bizarre claim that dublin has 19% of the population and we’re now onto alpha city classification. All the while you refuse to anser my theoretical question, dont run away and obfuscate now,

tourists are given a free trip to Ireland, they can do the wild Atlantic way, or dublin, which are they gonna pick?

Bastard .

Ah would you fuck off out of that. Here’s what you said

“The point you are still ignoring is that dublin airport is beside the only medium sized city in the country, due to centuries of british and then irish government policy of focusing all investment and funding into this city. Therefore theres far more airlines and options to fly into dublin.”

Let me translate that paragraph, your words, into simpler words:

“The point that you are all ignoring, is that Dublin airport is beside Dublin, due to the Brits and the Irish focusing investment on Dublin. Therefore more planes fly to Dublin”

It’s fine internetting from you and you’ve pulled in many but it’s not great debating to be fair.

JFK is from Limerick.

@TreatyStones

Dublin airport is beside Meath. It’s in Dublin

You may be onto something there alright.

More planes fly to the capital city with 1.8 million than fly to shannon town population 7 thousand or so. You struggle to understand this

Where does Dublin rank on the Global City Power Index?

Do you not know Dublin is an Alpha City? You cant get better than that. :slight_smile:

More evidence free posting.

Nobody said that people don’t go west. People go to Dublin though, as part of city breaks, tours or even as part of an overall trip to Ireland.

Here are the top attractions in Ireland (Republic)

em yes you can…

Alpha+ and Alpha++

Limerick is the only county in Ireland that I’ve never been in because I’ve never had a reason to go. But I really like Blindboy Boathouse and the Cranberries.
