Customer Service Experiences - Good & Bad

They’ve always been awkward. I knew it would be so rang well in advance of script being out of date.

When I got the original script 6 months ago I rang them shortly after for a receipt so I could claim on insurance. They said send an email request which I did but they never bothered sending it.

She asked for payment up front today and I told her she’d get it once I received last receipt and new script had been sent to chemist.

Doctor holds the prescription not a chemist ffs. It’s with their patient records. Our doctor never charges for a repeat, it’s waiting in reception that afternoon if we ring in morning.
Medical profession is approaching legal profession levels of scamming in Ireland these days.

I often get a take away on a Wednesday. Mostly it’s a take away pizza from Brezzi’s but tonight I fancied a curry from Camile.

6.30 pm. Order online. Green curry, brown rice. Dumplings. Your order will be delivered in 29 minutes.
7.30 pm. No sign of my dinner. Ring Camile. Very sorry very busy tonight. Will get your order out ASAP.
7.45 pm. Delivery arrives. Open delivery. Curry, dumplings, no rice. The dumplings are rancid. It’s clear they’ve been sitting under lights since 6.30.
7.50 pm. Ring Camile. No bother Fagie we’ll get the rice around to you ASAP.
8.00 pm. Notice a missed call from Camile. Phone Camile. Yeah Fagie we were looking for you there. What rice did you want. I want the rice that’s on my order. Brown rice. Grand so Fagie. Would you like a free starter for your next order. There won’t be a next order.
8.25 pm. I’m putting out the bins. A car pulls up. Very sorry about that. I look in the bag. Rice and a bag of prawn crackers. I hate prawn crackers. Here I say I didn’t order them. Oh no they’re a free gift. Take them. You can put them in your own bin.
8.30 pm. Open the rice. It’s not the brown rice I ordered. It’s egg fried rice. I don’t eat eggs.
8.31 pm. Hello it’s me again. Howya Fagie. You needn’t bother coming around again but just so you know you sent around the wrong rice. Sorry about that Fagie. My name is Fagan. Grand so Fagan.

3 orders or 3 notification?

Ring them up and ask where the hell your order is.

The same order received on three occasions. First order was minus one item.

One of the orders was missing an item so I emailed about it and they sent the full order out again.

They were very slow to get back so I sent a second email about four days later.

Has anyone ordered much off elverys before?
I ordered a few bits last Tuesday morning and bar the initial email to say my order was placed I’ve had zero communication from them. Is this standard?

In comparison when ordering with both lifestyle & o’neill’s recently I had the order delivered the next day.

I ordered running shoes on a Wednesday evening off them and had them Friday morning

Their online ordering system leaves a lot to be desired. You might be waiting 3-4 days before you get a dispatch confirmation.
