We’ll see who’ll be laughing in 4 day’s time when I get my own money back.
Back at the start of the first lockdown we decided to get one of the Dyson hot and cold air filter fan things.
One of neighbours suffers a lot with allergies and they had one and swore by them. In summer our house could get very hot so we’d certainly use it as a fan so if it was clearing up the air too great, especially in the early days of covid where things were very unclear.
So we got it and were using it away but after a couple of months it stopped working. Fully dead. We contacted Dyson and we contacted Harvey Norman(where we got it). Harvey Norman had been awaiting delivery of these for a few weeks so it looked like we’d be waiting a while to get one. Eventually we did. Everything back to normal.
Fast forward to a year later and out of the blue I get an email from Dyson saying that they had looked into my issue and that they’d need to send a replacement. OK… Didn’t reply.
About a week later Dyson send me another email with a tracking number for a delivery. About a week later a new fan arrives.
So now I have 2.

Had to get my card unblocked after some spurious purchase by me warranted them to send me a text to approve and i didn’t do it within the allotted time resulting in account frozen for 4 days.
Couldn’t get through to them on phone so went into branch and they couldn’t/wouldnt unfreeze it there but directed me to a phone on the wall where I dialled the same number I had been ringing but this time got through in 5 mins.
