because people continue to bank with them
they have to open 900000 new accounts as ulster bank flee & cant get any new staff
This shouldn’t be allowed and the customers generally have very little choice when it comes to dealing with companies like this. Is there not a regulator who can implement minimum customer service levels for companies like banks/energy providers/telcom? For example a minimum NPS score that results in large financial penalties for the heads of the businesses where targets are not met would be a good place to start. It would give me immense pleasure to know that everytime I receive bad customer service from these large companies my NPS score would be taking money out of the pocket of some fat cat
Billy Big balls with his NPS scores!
Permanent tsb have their mortgage dept discomnected today. If you pick either option the line goes dead. It’s fairly definitive at least.
I booked a flight with Swiss airlines through edreams a while back. The return leg was a shit show. I complained to Swiss air, they said they could refund the flight but the agency had to request the refund, not me. I tried to get through to edreams, there is no phone number, only a portal. Every submission through the portal or email I send I get the same pro forma response saying I need to contact the airline. Cunts.
It would work and we’d get the service the we are usually paying above the odds for. It would take a lad like Phil Hogan to bulldoze it through some government committee though
Welcome to my world.
Although I’m getting on mighty with ComReg at the moment. Al least they reply.
If Vodafone pull out of Ireland anytime soon, it’s probably down to me.
Missus has a contract with 3.
She got a message the other day, v vague, to say sorry we overcharged for you some package or other and we will refund you. No detail on how long they had been overcharging, what exactly it entailed etc
Get bill this morning with a 671 euro credit on it… Her monthly bill is normally 30 quid so who knows what on the fuck they have been at to say they owe her that much… So they have her cash (and no doubt thousands more like her) and the recompense here was a credit on her account which will take 20 months or so to wash through… No offer or detail on how you might get it back in cash…
Robbing fuckers
Its a scam
What is
Everything
Yes everything is. But the text message didn’t ask her to do anything, and she got a paper bill in the post from 3 this morning, again not asking her to do anything… So if its a scam its an elaborate long con
pretty shocking alright, surely you should get the option of getting your money back
They’ll send you your money back if you kick up a fuss I’d say. They are just banking on people not bothering their holes
I’d be sitting her down at the kitchen table this evening for a full review of the matter, and I’d be asking some pretty uncomfortable questions.
@gilgamboa Yes, call them, tell them you’ve been onto consumer affairs and the Regulator. If a call doesnt work get the pen and paper working, copying all of the above. They must repond to your written complaint within 10 days. If not, get back onto the Regulator.
Maybe there’s a Nigerian Prince involved here and how you deal with this will determine the future disbursement of the remaining €12.7 bn.
