Could the credit on the account be used against a new phone

Can you not do a charge back?

No. They have taken the extra charge over a long number of years I’d say… In such small monthly increments she never noticed

In that case make formal complaints to CCPC and comreg

Youd also be looking for compo for the inconvenience and interest

Edit: comreg has already given them a kicking over not refunding cash.

Id say theyll take a dim view of this continuing

Ask for the money woth 10 days or a formal complaint to comreg

Mrs Hunt received an appointment to be induced Friday morning at 8. In we go and were waved through to waiting room of admissions. 45 minutes later and still sitting so out she goes to ask. Different girl on desk said 'did no one take your name on way in? Poor communication we thought.

Details tsken and we’re sent up to assessment unit. She’s told they’re very busy in labour ward. They said we could wait but we decided to head home again and would wait for call when a delivery bed became free. We thought it strange they didn’t tell us before we left the house in the morning. Poor communication.

We got a phonecall at 8 pm Friday saying there was a possibility of a bed at 10pm if we wanted to come up. We said we’d wait until it was certain as we’d already been up that day and to let us know. We were told to come up first thing Sat morning and we’d be seen so up we go for 7.30am. They were very busy the night before and they told us to head off for a coffee. We sat in the car til 9am and then went for coffee and went back to the car at 11am. 3.30pm I said maybe ring them. Oh we’re crazy busy you can go home if you want and we’ll ring. Mrs Hunt is upset and we go home. She goes for a rest and wakes up to a missed call a half hour earlier (an hour after we got home). Rings back, no answer.

Rings again at 8pm. Oh yes we rang you and someone else has now taken your place and we’ve also bumped you down the list for not answering the call. Make sure your phones are on and we will definitely ring for you during the night. Still waiting.

I’d say you’re a very passive sort of a fella. There is no way I’d have allowed that to happen

That’s cat

Ructions away from the sight of the missus. Unfortunately only way to get heard in some of these situations

Good luck to all involved, look forward to hearing of your good news

Mrs Hunt said to keep powder dry until after the baby arrives safely. As she says herself it’s as if she arrived in unannounced. She’s tired and stressed and it hasn’t even started yet. No problem with them being busy. Leaving her sitting in a car for hours with no communication and then penalising her for missing a call while she slept.

Some dose… Minor suggestion… Give them your phone number as well just in case they can’t get her

Good luck with it. Just keep her calm… Ring them on the quiet and have a human to human chat instead of unloading.

And then there’s a shift change or some wan arrives deep in labour and Mrs Hunt is forgotten about again

Yeah, do it away from herself.

Make a list of everything you posted there. Try get on to someone in management as opposed to somoene at the coal face.

Relay the list, ask if they think thats acceptable, tell them they’ve upset your wife, ask them if that is acceptable.

Don’t take no for an answer mate

Tell them if something goes wrong, you’ll be holding them accountable, overplay how upset your missus is even if you have to. Thats not good enough at all

The very best of luck to you and your partner mate

Ditto. My youngest had her gall bladder out there a few weeks back. The doctor who reviewed her initial scan when we brought her in said she was fine and sent her home. Two days later she was back in and another doctor checked her file again. Said she had more stones then a fucking quarry. Couple of days after the operation, I was in with her and the initial doctor was doing the rounds. I fucked him out of it. Im normally very easy going but when it comes to family snd my kids in particular, it doesn’t take much to set me off

Should have answered the phone

Best of luck @mikehunt

If she’s being induced it can all happen quickly enough ! Don’t be afraid to kick up a fuss. Unfortunately the grease wheel etc.

It’a no harm to pack the normal personality at the door here and become super assertive.

Yep it’s her fault.

Learned our lesson with the first one and went private with the next

Best of luck with the birth @mikehunt

I see the problem here, it’s pretty simple.

The midwife rings the nurse on the phones and tells her to bring in Mike Hunt’s wife. She thinks the midwife is pulling the piss and ignores the call. Mrs Hunt is left waiting…

I’m only messing @mikehunt, best of luck with it. As a general bit of advice keep away from maternity hospitals at weekends and bank holidays. They are busy and understaffed at the moment, especially at the weekend. So grab an admittance early in the week and you’ll be sorted quickly.
