It would be a strange thing to lie about. I’m not sure its that much of an issue that anyone would particularly care about really to be honest. He actually said Paul Geaney was the best Kerry player he played with. He didnt seem to like Gooch but wouldnt outright say it.

the 4 team kerry hurling championship is actually a 9 team competition and the 2023 kerry hurling final attendance will beat that of the Dublin equivalent
