David Clifford

What age was clifford when he first won senior county and provincial titles? Asking for a friend.

I think Fenton is the GOAT. Or the Greatest I’ve Ever Seen Anyway (GIESA).

The cork hurler who scored that goal from 40 yards?

He’s a cunt

Yeah. A great player. Very different to Clifford so hard to compare. I think clifford could be an all time great but he has a bit to go yet.

No, the Dublin midfielder. I think he deserved a third POTY last year. He dominates games, has an unreal ability to turn it on when it matters and can do just about everything in the game.

I’d agree with that. Clifford is still young. Could be plenty more to come from him

Clifford is approaching the Jesse Lingard stage of youth

He is in his hole :rofl:
Not even in the top 5 in his own county

It’s actually a good point, you know, as somebody once said. I’m not sure any GAA player of the last 20 years is in, say, the 10 or 15 most recognisable players ever.

Dan Shanahan maybe.

Bomber Liston is the most recognisable GAA star of all time, along with Jayo maybe

Mugsy, Sean Óg ó hAilpin and Jayo probably are in the 10 or 15 most recognisable alright.

Jayo number 1.

Clifford is number 1

Bomber Liston is a good call. Spillane. Jack O’Shea. Ring. DJ Carey maybe.

Clifford is probably more recognisable than any current Irish footballer too which is saying something.

If you read the Cork Examiner, Kyle Hayes will be very recognisable to you

Possibly the Irish rugby team now that sexton is gone too

Kevin Moran

Joe Brolly be hard bet.

You could say Niall Quinn but the likes of him and any soccer ball players don’t really count.

He was unfortunate to be born in the most successful football county of all time alright…
