I find the boost in my sugar levels from the fructose gives me that extra bit of energy needed for my post-work gym session, bud. Speaking of which, due to ongoing back issues my cardio of choice these days is stationary bike. I know you are a big fan of this too. What type of numbers should I be putting up? Yesterday evening I did 24km in around 38:30. I plan to go for my first ever spinning class next Monday and don’t want to make a fool of myself.
Seriously, Mac? As in around 50km in that timeframe? I assume it is easier to do higher speeds on bikes with a flywheel so as opposed to a stationary bike? There is no fucking way some of the cunts that are in that spinning class are working twice as hard as me on that bike.
Different bikes, pal… but you’ll be up and down in gears. It’s really up to you, you get out of it what you put in… some cunts go along and they might as well be at home wanking themselves for all the good they are doing. That’s where the instructor comes in, I haven’t done it in years but there was a chap in UL who’d jump off the bike and feel how much air your bike was generating and start shouting at you if it wasn’t good enough - that sorted the cunts out good and proper.
I go pretty hard at it on the bike, bud and do be pumping sweat but I think the class environment would bring more out of me. You won’t find me wanting for lack of effort, pal. Just did the maths on Mac’s advice. That’s 75km in an hour, the lying cuntbag.
You must be an animal on the bike, mate. That’s way faster than I go but I usually have the bike set at a high resistance and like to visualise myself riding up a steep climb. You’ll be well able for a spinning class - have no doubt about it. Will you go to a class with your missus and sit on the bike beside her like @briantinnion, pal?
What do you mean, bro? As in go for an hour and 20 minutes? What distance would you cover in that time? I think the class I will be doing is an hour long but the instructor said you’re really only going for around 50 minutes.
I’ve really upped my game recently, pal and I feel I am ready for the next level. Regarding my female friend, there is only one type of exercise we do together if you get my drift.
