Your stools will be all over the place for a while. The main questions around it are… Are you getting sufficient fibre? And are you getting all the nutrients you need.
If your doing it I’d go organic only
What is a good source of fibre?
I’ve been on a calorie restricted diet for a bit but my adherence has been iffy. I’ve gained strength but my weight has gone a bit higher than I’d like. Wanna try something different. Plus I’m bored outta my tree

Gained strength how? - by lifting and adding muscle? You cant put on muscle and lose weight … are you lifting heavy?

As count said — you’ll swap muscle weight for fat when going at it … if you’ve bit around the middle you’re not happy weight it’s the pints kid - you’ll have to drop them or else just be very strict with diet - keep your carbs to veg etc.
I’ve cut the pints massively (well the government cut them for me) so I don’t drink nearly as much.
If you keep every meal to a third of your plate protein, a third veg and a third carb you shouldnt need to go too extreme… it will be more the snacks that get ya.
I have ABANDONED the carnivore diet on day 3.
