[]4-500 ml (2 mugs) of black coffee
[]Add 2 Tbs (or more, up to 80 grams, about 2/3 of a standard stick of butter) of Kerry Gold or other UNSALTED grass-fed butter
[]Add 2 Tbs (30 ml) of Upgraded MCT oil for max energy, weight loss and brain function (this is 6 times stronger than coconut oil, your next best choice)
[]Blend with a pre-heated hand blender, shake really hard in a flask, or counter top blender until there is a creamy head of foam.
I am out of unsalted butter so didn’t have any since last week.
how do you find it - do you eat anything else and does it keep you full to lunchtime
First green smoothie of my new life today.
2 tblsp of linseeds, 2 cups of spinach, a cup of water, 3/4 or cups of OJ (fresh squeezed), cup of blueberries, cup of strawberries, 2 frozen bananas. Pint of that this morning. And another pint left of it in the fridge.
Tasted great and I’m ready to go even more green.
Gonna scramble up a couple of eggs in the microwave here in work and I’ll be sorted through to lunch.

I think you might find that the pint left in the fridge will me pretty manky by the time you get back to it, mate. Blend as you go is the job.
I only drink vodka during the day. Thinking of giving it all up, though and going back to my marathon running lifestyle. I wanted to live a year as an alcoholic. See what it’s like. Maybe write an article on it. The sickening, corrosive nature of the substance makes it pretty much unsustainable to carry on in a decent job, though. Your money all goes on it. You forget things, or you aren’t arsed doing them.
Unless you’re a highly functioning alcoholic. I’ve yet to meet one though. I don’t count Kev from Coronation Street because he doesn’t start boozing until the evening time.
I’d be too ashamed to order it at a bar but Vodka, Sparkling Water and a slice of lime is actually lovely and surely one of the most calorie friendly drinks going (apart from neat gin or something).
Not quite that, but I tend to go to extremes. I spent 7 years running like a greyhound and eating only good stuff. That was a reaction to living an alcoholic, drug-fuelled lifestyle travelling round the world aged 22-23.
Got sick of running. Turned into a white collar slob when I began this job and decided life would be a little more fun getting cock-eyed on the clock. Wouldn’t drink really at all in the evenings and on weekends either. Now I’ve bought some ecstacy, I’m on the green smoothies, I’m going to the chiropractor and I’m getting back to the running and I’m kick everyone’s fucking arse next race I do and start riding Euro-bitches in their 20s again.
Still with the older lady. Having my doubts but fuck it, I’m going with it for now.
