what’s your pre training / pre match snack of choice?
ive been consuming a turkish cafe and a few dates ~20mins before a game or training lately and i find it really gives me a boost,
if necessary sudafed tablets and lucozade but the bubbles in the lucozade can fk u up a bit

Would eat no more than a banana as a pre match snack.
Would make sure to have eaten my dinner at least 4 hours before hand.

I need to get bread out of my daily diet but I’m finding it difficult to find alternatives. The problem is at lunch time I always have the same number of things - sandwich (ham or tuna etc), beans on toast, scrambled eggs on toast, chicken and salad in pitta bread, soup with bread for tipping. I can’t find a lunch that I can have that doesn’t incorporate bread, I tried salads but they are too bland. Anyone with a similar problem and solution?
If you put enough stuff into a salad it won’t be bland.

They say it’s bad for you and I am doing a bit of training these days, to be fair I do get bloated after it and eat too much. I mean I eat bread daily.
Make your own soup, buddy. Fuck a load of veg in and a spud-have a big bowl of it and it is fairly filling. Chomp away on fruit and a fistful of almonds during the day and you won’t go hungry.
