Diet & Nutrition

Tough love, chubbs.
@Kinvara’s Passion @ChocolateMice, cheers for that. I probably wouldn’t be bothered cutting various foods out by 100% and then having a cut off them as trial and error. My diet is pretty much excellent anyway. I do notice occasional potential symptoms like eczema, tiredness, or more likely less perfect skin than usual. I couldn’t put my finger on anything out of the usual in diet around these times. I’d be interested to do one of these tests, cut whatever it might recommend, and see if that makes a difference.

Choco, I don’t think there is any such thing as a ‘slight’ wheat intolerance from what I’ve read. You’re either coeliac or not. Though of course you’ll probably feel better if you cut bread as you’ll more than likely be eating healthier anyway.
what happened to the Ireland we grew up in of the self hating Irish

the demise of the Catholic Church has a lot to answer for in terms of this new found confidence and positivity

I have enough negativity, I may as well be positive where it is well placed.

I didn’t.

The real experts, i.e. consultant allergy chaps, say the commonly available food tolerance test are a load of rubbish.

However, I reckon they’re worth doing if you have something chronic wrong with you, e.g. asthma, persistent sinus issues or arthritis. Cutting out dairy, in particular, often seems to have beneficial effects for people with breathing issues. What have you got to lose?

I did one once and was told to cut out dairy and wheat for 3 months before gradually re-introducing it. I felt decent enough at the time but no major change. My brother in law, in contrast, got huge benefits from it. He was a chronic asthmatic and got constant infections. Since cutting out dairy he has barely needed to use his inhaler and hasn’t been sick much.

In your specific case, glas, I reckon it is hardly worth it. There’s nothing wrong with you. Cheer up.

Hmmmm…

That sounds nasty Tossy mate. My breath is very good though. Would a nutri blast in the morning be any use here?

Eating unreal well this week. Feel souper.

So far today:

Porridge for breakfast with blueberries, raspberries and coconut oil.
Apple on the way to work
Homemade oat & nut bar at 11
Big tub of homemade vegetable soup with a chicken & beetroot wrap for lunch.

Unlike the other lads on here I don’t need to have my food liquidized for me before I can eat it.

Did you liquidise the soup, mate?

Yes, I liquidised my soup. That’s why it’s soup.
Stop trying to be clever. It doesn’t suit you.

My food wasn’t liquidised.
I didn’t fuck the porridge, the oat bar, and the chicken into a blender.
