I mentioned before that we like to go for a runaround/play on Portmarnock Beach every other weekend in spring, summer, winter and fall. The kids love the freedom and open space to wreak havoc and they get extremely excited watching the airplanes overhead descending into the airport. It struck me that people who grew up on this flight path were very fortunate to have such aviation activity on their doorstep. Another runway is terrific news for the next generation.

Has anyone tried to take formula for an infant through security in Dublin airport? Are you allowed to bring through pre made bottles or just boiled water? Also can the powder be brought through or would I need to pack that in my checked in luggage.
We have done it plenty of times. They have a special machine for it so they’ll take it away and test it there. You can have it in whatever format you like, either premade or mixed. And there’s generally no restriction on how much of it you bring through too
